How to build a stronger relationship with your employees
Each time brings its own challenges. The same applies to this one, the time of the Covid 19 pandemic, which posed some new challenges and obstacles to all of humanity, and thus to businesses.
Employment and HR, as the common denominators of every business, therefore found themselves between a rock and a hard place in the form of the need of the employer and sustainable business for continuous work, development and employment on the one hand and security measures / uncertainty on the other.
The first and most logical solution that was imposed was work from home, which was not that common in our society until the pandemic, but more of a new concept both for employers and employees.
Today, after more than a year of operating under such conditions dictated by Covid 19, almost every company and employee have experienced working from home, getting acquainted with the legal framework of such work, the rights and obligations of the employer / employees.

The aim of this text is not to repeat and quote the now well-known legal solutions of work from home, the protection measures that the employer is obliged to provide if they are not able to organize work from home, and the like.
On the contrary, our intention is to briefly point out the “special measures” that our company and its HR apply in response to these challenges.
We realized that the first reaction to this difficult time in which we operate is FEAR, the fear of every employee as an individual, as a parent, as a borrower in a bank, as a man who through his work should provide a life for himself and his family.
That is why the “special measures” that we as a company have decided to apply are aimed precisely at the goal of reducing and eliminating fear among our employees.
These measures are reflected in the special relationship we strive to develop with each of our employees, the time we are willing to spend for him, the willingness to listen to his problems and fears by looking him straight in the eye without false compassion, thus giving him the opportunity to look at the company he works for and his superiors as comrades who, together with him, side by side, are fighting for a better tomorrow.
In this way we strengthened the ties between us, we became closer to our employees, let them know that to us they are not just a number in an excel spreadsheet or a place provided for expense in cashflow projection. An Aristotle said “Misfortune shows those who are not really friends”, so this misfortune also gave us the opportunity to show ourselves as true friends.
We want to root this approach as a value of our company, not only in internal relations with employees but also with our clients and associates.
